Snapshot Wisconsin: Winter's chill slows first-quarter home sales

A cool economy and a colder winter hurt first-quarter home sales, according to the Wisconsin Realtors Association.

Home prices dropped 3.1 percent in Wisconsin in the first quarter, compared to the same period in 2007. The number of home sales, however, dropped 24.1 percent from 2007 to 2008.
